MEET THE Team
Maichel Berhe (PE)
President
Mike is the president and owner of Precision Engineering Design. He is a licensed Professional Engineer. He is also a licensed general contractor and engineering contractor. He joined the industry in 1996, while in college. After college, he worked for structural firms in Riverside, orange county and San Diego, providing structural design for major land developers and architectural firms. He has extensive experience in the structural design of residential and small commercial buildings. After receiving his bachelor degree in civil engineering, he took advanced courses in structural analysis and design of wood, concrete, masonry, pre-stress concrete and seismic analysis. Mike’s unique combination of knowledge as a designer and contractor always help him to arrive at quick and inexpensive solutions to almost any problem.
He is often recognized as lead designer, effective communicator & thorough manager on his projects. He has demonstrated achievements in delivering multiple projects of highest quality, on time, and within budget.
Maichel is highly motivated, analytical, and well organized. He strives to deliver excellent design and highest standard client service.
Mike current resides in Irvine with his wife and two kids. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, golfing and traveling.
